Necrotic lesions are caused by invasion of blood vessels leading to thrombosis and infarcation.4. These streaks enlarge and coalesce forming necrotic lesions with light gray centres and yellow perimeters. 5. Also, a black necrotic lesion known as an eschar develops where the chigger fed. 6. The roots will also exhibit necrotic lesions . 7. The necrotic lesions can cause death to the plant structure and plant as a whole. 8. As the plant grows, it often shows stunting, and necrotic lesions begin to form on the leaves. 9.
